Andrew Majtenyi’s Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection!

Andrew Majtenyi’s Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection exudes dark, sultry sophistication with early 20th century book-binding and prized volumes tucked away in the corridors of the British Library being the influence behind it all.

100% wool and 100% silk fabrics are used to create bespoke Andrew Majtenyi prints which add an edgy playfulness to the collection. Tailored separates and gorgeous elegant eveningwear can be seen in neutral shades of greys, blacks and whites with flashes of pinks, blues, purples, reds, oranges and greens to bring depth and life to the range.

1930 and 40’s silhouettes are mixed with elements of modernism whilst classic cuts are embellished with structure and sportswear concepts.

I love the simple yet creative vibe throughout the garments and the subtle details such as the use of panelling and tiering. The unusual yet stunning prints are flaunted in an array of colours and styles bringing a unique beauty to dresses, skirts and tops.

A luxuriously beautiful collection!
